Concepts​

What is an Account?​

An account is the top-level organisational unit on Cogrion. Everything you do on the platform — workspaces, members, credentials — belongs to an account. Think of it as your organisation's dedicated space on the platform.

Account Roles​

Every account member holds one account-level role that determines what they can manage:

In addition to an account role, each member also holds one or two member roles that determine their access to platform features. See Account Membership for details.

Account Resources​

An account holds shared infrastructure resources that workspaces draw from:

  • Credentials — cloud provider credentials used when provisioning workspaces
  • Storages — storage backends for infrastructure state
  • Networks — pre-existing cloud networks that workspaces can attach to

These are managed by account Owners and Admins before workspaces are created.
