Account Overview

What is an Account?
An account is the top-level organisational unit on Cogrion. Everything you do on the platform — workspaces, members, credentials — belongs to an account. Think of it as your organisation's dedicated space on the platform.
Account Roles
Every account member holds one account-level role that determines what they can manage:
| Role | Code | What they can do |
|---|---|---|
| Owner | AccountOwner | Full control — manage members, roles, and all account resources |
| Admin | AccountAdmin | Manage members and account resources, but cannot transfer ownership |
| Member | AccountMember | View access only; cannot manage members or account settings |
In addition to an account role, each member also holds one or two member roles that determine their access to platform features. See Account Membership for details.
Account Resources
An account holds shared infrastructure resources that workspaces draw from:
- Credentials — cloud provider credentials used when provisioning workspaces
- Storages — storage backends for infrastructure state
- Networks — pre-existing cloud networks that workspaces can attach to
These are managed by account Owners and Admins before workspaces are created.
